Topographic context

It was embedded, along with other pillars, in a wall of the building next to the San Gregorio Fountain already at the beginning of the 20th century. According to Loperráez, these would come from the immediate Cerro de San Juan, and according to Taracena, from the ruins of the immediate plain to Los Villares de Tera
