Octavio Bellmunt (Asturias III, 285) makes imprecise reference to this piece, saying that there were two broken inscriptions in Collado (Riosa). According to Manzanares, one of them corresponds to this one that was used in a house, as a corner ashlar, by Felipe Álvarez Álvarez, in 1950. The piece had already been used previously, at the end of the previous century (c. XIX), in another building. This is immediate to "Pico Castiello", place of an old oppidum/castrum.
