Location
Topographic context
Hübner located it in the town of Alange, in the hermitage of San Bartolomé (modern “Cristo de los Baños”), next to the Roman baths, where it served as the base for an altar. Some nineteenth-century reports place it in Botuna (the site of Valle de Santa Ana), but evidence has been noted for the presence of the piece in Alange as early as the sixteenth century.

It is preserved in the courtyard of the spa.
